The objective of the research is to find out the appropriate and beneficial forced molting program that suitable with the environment and the condition of the farmer in Indonesia. The research used 180 medium type chickens, strain Dekalb Warren, aged 84 weeks old. The research applied 2×2×2 factors and used complete randomized design in (CRD) 5 times replications with 4 chickens for each repeat. The first factor was water supplying and without water supply. The second factor was the duration of no feeding for 10 and 5 days. The third factor was the amount of feed given during recovery period, that was 50% and 25% of the normal consumption. So, the total of the treatment of forced molting program applied were 9 treatments. Data obtained were analysed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), orthogonal comparison test. The result obtained showed that the treatment B (without feeding for the first 10 days, having water supply, day 11 to 30 were feed 25% of normal consumption) could be increasing the average of egg production of old chicken to 68.20%, improving feed convertion, egg quality: Haugh Unit value, yolk percentage, significantly and no differences were obsesrved among treatments versus control for egg weighth, albumen percentage, eggshell thickness. The result was also showed that the Forced Molting Stress Method used in this experiment, would be giving profit of Rp 2,500,000;- per 1,000 chickens if implemented; in the contrary, if the old chickens are allow to keep laying egg without treatment, the farmer would get deficit of Rp 467,000;- per 1,000 chickens

Along with the increased use of fuel oil, so that necessary to manufacture in producing electric vehicles. One of them the electric bike. On an electric bike, motors drive consist of electric motors, power converters and electronic controllers are the mover of electric vehicle systems. This study discusses the three-phase inverter method Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) as a three-phase induction motor drive in electric bike applications that are modeled by using Matlab / Simulink. The purpose of this study is to get the design of the three-phase inverter SVPWM as a three-phase induction motor drive 500 W, 50 V, 50 Hz and 750 rpm. The inverter design using battery voltage 48 V. Before the battery voltage is converted by an inverter, battery voltage must first be raised through a boost converter to 70,62 Volt. Through simulation with Matlab software is then obtained curve of sinusoidal voltage box, current, and speed of the motor in the unit pu SVPWM controlled by the system. In this study also tested against changes in the value of the fundamental frequency inverter. From the test results that the inverter can set the speed of the motor at a frequency of 20 Hz to 50 Hz. At the time of the frequency inverter 5-15 Hz current increases exceeding motor nominal current of 8.25 A

In order to health care management can reach desired target then must fulfill various of requirements, for example : available, appropriate, continue, acceptable, accesible, affordable, quality. All the requirement is referred same the importance and at recently effort upgrade service growing gets larger ones attention, easy to understand this condition because if certifiable health care can to carry out, not only will improve health care effectivity, but also also will be able to improve health care efficiency (Aditama, 2002). This research bent on for getting the information of outpatient health care in polyclinic of Hospital surgical operation Haji Makassar Tahun 2008 that evaluated from some aspects namely : Service pattern that given the party of hospital and service standard that expect patient. Method as used in research this is the research qualitative. Data is collected with method indepth interview, observation, and document study. Base research focus, amount infoman 13 where 6 on ones part RS one who are assumed competent and control aspect of outpatient health care management and 7 people on ones part patient. From research result obtained information about outpatient health care in surgical operation polyclinic RSU Haji Makassar in 2008 namely: 1) pattern of outpatient health care that given RS Haji specially in surgical operation polyclinic according to the party of service hospital that they give that have been good and in accordance with patient expectation, 2) Standard that defined by outpatient in surgical operation polyclinic RSU Haji Makassar, where patient does not find its expectation satisfaction to service that given RS, 3) By see conclusion of both variable above then two and two make four seen that the happening of difference between what given the party of hospital by what expect patient, where RS have not yet can give desired service the party of patient so its proves existence of weak service pattern. Service pattern in RS Haji specially in surgical operation polyclinic show existence of difference between RS as [the] provider and patient as user where RS have not yet can realize what expect patient start from registration process where lack of facilities and basic facilities makes patient kick ones heelses to get service either on counter or in pharmacy and time of doctor inspection that quick. Situation is referred show weak service pattern. Standard Nothing that defined by patient, where patient does not find its expectation satisfaction to service that given RS for no standard applied, specially in surgical operation polyclinic RS Haji.Key Words : Service Pattern and Service Standard

Heavy metal pollution in agricultural land threatens soil and food quality. Soil pollution could be remediate using biochar, but the effectiveness of biochar on soil quality improvement is determined by types of feedstock and pyrolysis temperature. This study was aimed to explore the effect of different types of biochar on soil properties. Biochar from rice husk and tobacco waste was applied to soil contaminated with lead and mercury. This study was conducted at Sumber Brantas, Malang East Java, and used a completely randomized design with three replicates. Heavy metals content was measured using AAS. The results of measurements were analyzed using analysis of variance at 5% and 1% significance levels. The initial analysis of the soil properties at the research site showed that the soil nutrient status was low, i.e. N (0.2 %), K (0.50 cmol+/kg), and CEC (5.9 me/100g) respectively, but soil pH was neutral (6.8). The research site also has crossed the threshold of heavy metal content for Hg (0.5 ppm), Pb (25.22 ppm), Cd (1.96 ppm), and As (0.78 ppm). Biochar added had a positive influence on soil characteristics improvement. It could increase the content of organic C, i.e. 35.12% and 31.81% and CEC (cation exchange capacity), i.e.30.56 me/100g and 28.13 me/100 g for rice husk biochar and tobacco waste biochar, respectively. However, N, P, and K contents were low i.e. N ( 0.33 and 0.30 %); P2O5 (148.79 and 152 ppm); K (1.58 and 2.11 mg/100g) for rice husk biochar and tobacco waste biochar, respectively
